Assembling your own birdbox from this plan:

1.
Lay templates on wood in the correct order, draw round them and cut them
out.
2. Mark the entrance hole and screw holes in the roof, back and front sections and drill. 3. Nail one side to back, placing it 4 cm up from the bottom. 4. Nail floor to back and side. 5. Nail other side to back and floor. 6. Place front and roof in position, check that front does not stick up too high. 7. Nail front in position. 8. Screw roof down. 9. Paint your birdbox with NON TOXIC wood preservative. NB: To attract Blue Tits and other
small birds make the entrance hole 1.125 inches in diameter.
